We have fun activities for young readers to practice skills at the library this summer!
1. Windows of Learning!
The windows in the Children's Room have been transformed into learning opportunities for elementary age students!
Plan a visit to experience the Coloring Station, I SPY Station, Author Study and more!
2. New Early Reader Section!
We have a new organization system on the back wall of the Children's Room. This is our Early Reader Section and the books are now in bins and sorted by reading level and subject. Young Readers can find their own books to check out!
3. Fact vs. Fiction!
Explore non-fiction and fiction books about the same topic! This month, the topic is OCEANS!
These new features are excellent ways for elementary age students to practice their reading and math skills during the summer months! Make a point to visit the library each week to explore all the new activities!
